Dream Woman
My friend speaks of a woman in his dreams. She is frequenting his nightmares. Last night. Again. Running away from a flying snake that turned into a woman. He said she felt her. Breathed her. But he said he has never seen her face. But she is always there. So close. He said, I could not let her go and she would not go away.
My friend, an old man dreaming of a young woman, and feeling young again. Each time he wakes up, he realizes she is not married to him but to someone else in flesh and blood. What fantasy, he said, in a dream! What? Fantasy in a dream?
