Instead of excoriating President Aquino for the "attempt" (actually successfully convincing him) to vote for the ouster of Chief Justice Renato Corona, Senator Ramon "Bong" Revilla, Jr. should have explained the kickbacks he received from the P10-B scam that Janet Napoles filched from the taxpayers money with the connivance of lawmakers and other local government officials.
But the whistle-blower Benhur Luy said the Cavite lawmaker received, and he has documents to prove his allegation, hundreds of millions of pesos through the use of his Priority Development Assistance Fund. The fund is supposed to be spent for projects in poor areas in the Philippine countryside.
A video showed the senator making a speech before his peers debunking the accusation that there was a "truckload" of evidence against him. He then asked an assistance to bring in a pile of documents, picked this "evidence" and put it atop a toy truck. It is clear Bong Revilla can't comprehend what hyperbolic statement is all about.
