3 CONSOLATTION PRIZES AT P1,000 EACH IN ILUKO POETRY CONTEST
The Lacar family, originally from Bacarra, Ilocos Norte, has added three more consolation prizes to the recently-launched Severino and Eufemia Lacar Commemorative Award in Iluko Poetry. The annual contest, of which a memorandum of agreement was signed during the 4th TIM-Global International Iluko Literary Conference in San Fernando City, offers three major prizes as follows: P10,000, first prize; P7,000, second prize; and P5,000 third prize. Timpuyog Journal starts publishing the rules in its June 16 issue.
