The army general, who was with the President in Zamboanga at the time (January 25) the Muslim

guerillas were slaughtering the elite commandos, had no answer then. But he explained that they did not give assistance because there was no urgency of your message. In the Senate hearing, Senator Peter Allan Cayetano was asking a general if the army was protecting the Moro Islamic Liberation Front whose forces killed 44 members of the PNP Special
Forces.


*Gen. Getulio Pascua Napenas, Jr., the sacked commander of the Philippine National Police Forces that killed the Malaysian international terrorist Marwan in a dawn raid at his hideout in the village. His house is located, sources said, a few meters away from the house of a high MILF official. Napenas, a native of Luna, La Union, in Northern Philippines, was one of the resource persons in the Senate hearing.
